Frequently asked questions

Practical answers, plus what users report on review sites

What problem does Aspire solve for me?

Aspire (formerly AspireIQ) is an influencer and word-of-mouth marketing platform for working with influencers, ambassadors and affiliates. Capterra describes it as aimed mainly at mid-market or enterprise ecommerce brands in North America. It helps you find creators, manage briefs, contracts and product seeding, and track results. A competitor-written review also describes an opt-in creator marketplace.

Is Aspire a good fit for a small team?

Usually not. Capterra lists a starting price of US$2,499, and the Creator Hero review (written by a competitor) says it is a poor fit for small, seasonal or first-time influencer programmes and reports annual contracts. That review suggests it suits established ecommerce brands with a dedicated team and a large annual programme spend. Capterra also describes the audience as North American, so check fit if you sell elsewhere.

How much should I budget for Aspire?

Capterra lists a starting price of US$2,499 and says to contact the vendor. The Creator Hero review says pricing is not published, starts around $2,000 per month on an annual commitment based on a demo quote, and can go far higher for enterprise programmes. It also says there is no free trial or month-to-month option. Confirm on the vendor pricing page, and note creator fees and gifted products come on top.

What can I do with Aspire?

Capterra lists influencer discovery, campaign management, CRM, relationship management, ROI tracking, reporting and social media monitoring. Creator Hero says it covers a profile database, briefs, contracts, deliverables, product seeding, promo codes and affiliate links. Capterra reviewers mention it handles scheduling, contracts and invoicing. A Capterra reviewer found the CRM less intuitive than other parts.

Does Aspire replace a person or just help?

It helps. It organises outreach, contracts and tracking, but someone still has to run the programme day to day. Creator Hero reports a steep learning curve and onboarding time, and also praises dedicated account reps. A Capterra reviewer reported influencer no-shows, so you still need to manage the relationships.

Does Aspire connect with my other tools?

Capterra's page lists no integrations. The Creator Hero review, written by a competitor, says Aspire links with Shopify, Shopify Plus, WooCommerce, TikTok Shop, Klaviyo, Outlook, Gmail and affiliate networks such as Awin, Impact and CJ Affiliate. We could not confirm this on the vendor site, so verify each connection. The same review says much of the value depends on Shopify or WooCommerce.

What should I check before relying on Aspire?

Check the contract length and cancellation terms, because a Capterra reviewer said a cancellation request was refused and charges continued. Capterra shows 3.5 from only 6 reviews, some from 2019 to 2023, while the competitor review cites 4.5 on G2, which we could not verify. Ask what the quote includes for analytics and managed services. Ask for a trial or reference from a business of your size.
